I just received my Israelite bible. Nice bible but they need to let you know that this bible only stops at Psalms 96 and there is no apocrypha in this book or new testament restored...Very disappointed

Wow, this book leaves you jealous that you were not there when these magnificent and erotic photos were taken! This is a very honest, candid, and beautiful book of beautiful boys mostly in states of total full frontal nudity or nearly naked. These are not posed photos - these are really emotionally powerful pictures of young guys at their most private and vulnerable moments. These photographs are so real, it seems that you can almost smell them!! The amazing thing is that the reader/viewer can almost understand each young man's unique personality just by looking at one very revealing picture.

The photos of these young men are highly erotic, but sometimes heart breaking.

This book is the first of a Portfolio line from Bruno Gmunder with a number of stunningly beautiful images, A peek into an intimate affair between a photographer and his models. It's quiet in most, but we certainly can feel tensions and the anticipation behind each image. Ohm Phanphiroj is quite brilliant in how he communicates his intention visually. Not to mention the stylistic nature of his skillful use of lighting and how he evokes feeling so subtly, quietly, and effectively.

I was hoping for some story but all the words you are going to get is the title and the sentence behind the book
the book is surprisingly thin with card board covers....artsy...not really
and a bunch random photos that are supposed to be artsy and moody but it just looks really shady and cheap

About the Author
David Krogh has been writing about science for 24 years in newspapers, magazines, books, and for educational institutions. He is the author of "Smoking: The Artificial Passion," an account of the pharmacological and cultural motivations behind the use of tobacco, which was nominated for the "Los Angeles"" Times" Book Prize in Science and Technology. In 1994, he began work on what would become "Biology: A Guide to the Natural World," and in 1999 he completed its first edition. Since then, he has produced three more editions of "A Guide to the Natural World" along with a second textbook, "A Brief Guide to Biology," He holds bachelor's degrees in journalism and history from the University of Missouri.

I found this book to much easier to read and understand from all the previous textbooks assigned to biology courses. The graphics and tables and examples are completely explained. The format asks questions and answers them in a simple, easily understandable text -- not like the mumbo jumbo that a person would have to read over and over to finally understand its meaning.

Confusing Text Book With Errors In Reference Section

There were many formatting errors in this book, such as the glossary columns being switched around-"G" doesn't belong in the middle of the "F" vocab. Some of the page #'s listed in the index were not correct. If you must use this book then you should know that the info can normally be found close to the page listed in the index. The figures/tables were very useful and restated the text in an organized manner, which helped the flow of the writing.

I hate biology, but...

This book is easy going, plus it arrived on time for my classes... even though it's paperback and a bit thick, if I were a teacher I would suggest it to my colleagues. One thing I regret is not getting the study guide materials too.
